MAC LADY DANGER-REVIEW, SWATCH, FOTD

Sorry for MIA….I recently shifted to a new place and was busy with the entire shifting process…. Hope you all are doing good..

Today I will review one of my favorite lipstick Mac Lady Danger. It is my statement lip color,  a bold orange which according to me will look great on fair to wheatish complexion.

My take on the Lipstick:-

LADY DANGER…. What a name!!!!! But don’t worry… This lady ain’t dangerous… In fact she’s the gorgeous gorgeous one…. MAC describes this shade as “vivid bright coral red”  and oh boy what a color it is😍.   It is super bright and a bold lip color. MAC has many reds and oranges in their collection but this is neither red nor orange… It’s reddish orange… A statement lip color…..i am always asked what shade I have on my lips when I put this color on….d color surely grabs all the attention.  I keep rest of my make up subtle when I have this on my lips.

Though Lady Danger is from the matte range of MAC it is not as dry on lips as the lipsticks from the MACs retro matte range are…..It glides smoothly on my lips. But if u have superdry lips it is better to make use of a lip balm and prep and prime the lips before application…   I personally don’t like using lip balm… I just exfoliate my lips well so that they don’t look flaky…

It is super pigmented and one swipe gives opaque color. I like bright lip colors more than nudes and neutral…. and this shade is one of the brightest lip color I have in my lipstick collection…it gives instant freshness to my face…

The lipstick stays for about 3-4 hours on me without touch up with light snacks in between. After that I need a touch up.   It has MACs standard vanilla fragrance and I love it.

I have teamed up this shade with Indian as well as western outfits…looks great on both..

The only thing I don’t like about it is it transfers a bit…

To Sumup:-

Pros:-

1. Awesome bright shade.
2. Matte yet not dry on lips.
3. Super pigmented.
4. Stays on without touch up for about 4 hours.
5. Vanilla fragrance.

Cons:-

Transfers a bit.
